LUCIANA PINCHIERO
Born in Rosario, Santa Fé, Argentina. Lives and works in New York.
Luciana works predominantly with collage, photography, moving image, and objects. She is interested in the concept of postcolonial ‘herstory’ as she observes and de-constructs the recorded history and its fixed patterns. Her latest projects involve the manipulation of (rarely) disputed dominant history, as she challenge the idea of traditional Western representation of historically acclaimed male figures.
