For Winter Solstice, Delfina Braun, Edo Costantini, and Delfina Muniz Barreto come together as a collaborative trio to explore the invisible forces that connect psyche, nature, and space. Drawing from Braun’s Jungian-informed investigations into the human mind and esoteric knowledge, Costantini’s ethereal meditations on the sublime in upstate New York forests, and Muniz Barreto’s architectural sensitivity to form, memory, and sustainable materiality, the artists translate shared inquiries into bronze sculptural interventions. Inspired by underground mycelial networks and the rare “lady’s veil” mushroom—long associated with healing and regeneration—the works subtly inhabit the space as poetic presences. Like fungi themselves, ephemeral yet resilient, the sculptures evoke unseen systems of connection where pain and restoration intertwine, suggesting that renewal begins quietly, beneath the surface, before emerging into view.
