Diego Miccige was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. From an early age, he was encouraged in visual and performing arts, studying in various schools with prominent teachers. He holds a degree in Psychology with a clinical specialization. He integrates his work as an artist and mental health professional within inclusive artistic-cultural programs for the General Directorate of Mental Health, an agency under the Ministry of Health.

His work is framed within what is known as sensitive geometry. His process include constructive hours of modular work, drawing on paper, embroidery and the rolling of each paper. The iconography he creates speak of a deep reflection on ancestral textile and craft practices. Society is reflected in each of the embroidered rolls, humans are intertwined with each other, forming a network. Miccige's pieces are a metaphor for society and the human bond, something that brings together concepts such as union, diversity, risk  and tension.
